Website terms

Terms of Service

These terms set out the conditions for using the Britannia English Courses website. By browsing the site or submitting a form, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The operator of this website is Britannia English Courses, United Kingdom. Contact details appear in the site footer and at the end of this page.

The terms apply every time you open this website or send us an enquiry.

Read them alongside our cookie and privacy documents, which explain how enquiry details are handled once a form reaches us.

Conditions in full

Each heading below covers one part of the agreement between you and Britannia English Courses. Where a course enquiry turns into a confirmed place, the written confirmation we send you takes precedence over the general wording on this page.

Use of the website

You may use this site for lawful purposes and to enquire about English courses. You agree not to attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorised access to systems or data, or use automated tools to submit forms or scrape content.

We may restrict or block access where we reasonably believe these terms are being breached.

Information on this site

Course descriptions, levels, formats and schedules are provided for general information. Details such as fees, start dates and availability change and are confirmed directly when you enquire.

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance until we confirm the details of a specific course in writing.

Enquiries and registration

Submitting the form creates an enquiry, not a binding enrolment, and does not create a payment obligation. A course place exists only once we confirm it and the applicable fees are arranged.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you submit, particularly your email address and phone number. If we cannot reach you at the contact details supplied, we may not be able to progress a course place.

Enquiries for our General, Intensive and exam-preparation programmes can be started at any time, and replies are sent from the school during office hours.

Fees and payment

Where a course is agreed, fees, enrolment charges and materials costs are confirmed in writing before they become due. Payment methods are those we specify at that point.

We do not request card details through the website contact form. Any request that appears to come from us and asks for payment card information through this site should be treated as suspicious and reported using the contact details at the end of this page.

Intellectual property

Text, course outlines and other content on this site belong to Britannia English Courses or are used with permission. You may not reproduce or redistribute content for commercial purposes without written consent.

Personal use of course information — printing a page to plan an enquiry, for example — is fine. Quoting repeated extracts on another site, or reselling our materials, is not.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, technical faults or events outside our control may interrupt service.

If a page looks out of date or a form will not send, the quickest route is to email or telephone the school and we will pick the enquiry up manually.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site or reliance on general information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

General information on levels, formats and progression is guidance, not a promise about how quickly any individual learner will progress.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one, and continued use of the site means you accept it.

The date at the top of this page shows when the wording was last reviewed, so you can tell whether you are reading the version you agreed to.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
